In a vessel mix maida,salt, baking powder, ghee and cold water and mix all properly.

Now rest it for 15 min. Now flat it with hands and cut I to half and again flat it with hand. Repeat this process for 6-7 times for multi layers. Rest it again for 15 min.

In a vessel take sugar and water and cook until thick chasni. Add lemon juice to avoid crystallization of sugar. Add colour and cook.

After 15 min cut the dough into straps and roll it to make smooth cylindrical rolls. Rest for 5 min. Now cut it into pieces. Roll these pieces into round shape and press in middle to make a small hole.

Now fry these on low medium flame into batches.. Now put these fried balushahi directly into warm chasni. Flip thes in between in chasni so that chasni gets absorbed in it properly.

Keep them in chasni for 2 hrs or overnight. Take out in a plate and serve. Sweet juicy baushahi is ready.
