  • 150 gmMoth
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/4 tspasafoetida
  • 1/4turmeric powder
  • 3-4green chillies
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • 1 tspred chilli
  • 2 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/2lemon juice
  • As neededWater
  • To tastesalt

    Wash & soak moth in water for 24 hours to allow it to sprout.

    When it is ready heat oil in a cooker add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida & turmeric powder. Stir it for a few seconds.

    Then add water & salt. Allow it to cook for 4 whistles.

    Open the cooker once it cools open it & add red chilli, coriander powder & lemon. Your healthy, nutritious moth is ready. Serve hot.

    If you wish to add chopped tomato, onion & green coriander.
