Seasoned Mochi Sticky Rice Stuffed Roast Chicken for Christmas
I came up with this recipe to enjoy chicken, vegetables and rice all at the same time. It was for my husband, who wanted to "eat a whole chicken!"I thought seasoned mochi sticky rice would be lighter than pilaf since it doesn't use any butter. It will be delicious if you rub the chicken with herbs and garlic. You can make delicious salad, soup and sandwich with the leftovers! Please adjust the baking time and temperature according to the size of your chicken and the oven. Cover with aluminum foil if the chicken is browning too much. Recipe by perthlove3

Portuguese Chickpea Salad
This is one of the traditional Portuguese home cooked dishes. Portuguese steaks in the sauce
Ah, Portuguese cuisine, is a perfect marriage of rich flavors and intense tastes. Steaks in Portuguese sauce are an excellent example - a delicious combination of tender meat, aromatic sauce, and subtle notes of port wine. The recipe begins by pounding the steaks, then letting the meat is seared quickly in a hot pan, before being removed and set aside to rest with salt. The sauce is then prepared by adding garlic, bay leaves, paprika, and pepper to the same pan. Once the garlic is golden brown, the spirits are added to deglaze, then the sauce is reduced until it is thick and flavorful. Finally, the steaks are returned to the pan with the sauce and reheated together to soak up the sauce's flavor. Served with a slice of dry-cured ham, this dish can be accompanied by rice, french fries, or even homemade chips for a tasty and satisfying meal.So if you're looking for a recipe that combines tender meat, rich flavors, and subtle notes of port wine, Portuguese steaks in the sauce are for you. Follow the steps below for a delicious and easy-to-prepare meal.

Pastel - A Brazilian Dish
Pastel is a typical fast-food Brazilian snack which is something like an enlarged deep-fried gyoza dumpling!!! In fact, it is said that pastel originated when Japanese immigrants living in Santos adapted this dish. Any kind of filling goes well. A common pastel is filled with either cheese, ham, or ground meat, and then deep fried in vegetable oil.Hints for choosing ingredients: Use the freshest ground meat and parsley as possible. To bring out the flavor of the meat filling, be sure to season with coarsely ground black pepper! The key to making a pastel crunchy, is to flip it over a number of times while deep-frying, until it becomes evenly golden brown! I found "Easy Pasta" brand fresh pasta sheets at Costco.
