Peel the potatoes.

Cook the potatoes in the boiling water with salt.

When it's almost boiled turn off the flame and drain the water

Then grate and keep it ready aside

Chop the onion finely, slit green chillies

Now pour oil in a pan pop mustard seeds. Then add onion, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder.

Saute it well.

Add grated potatoes and mix gently with fork. Then cover it with lid and cook for 2_3 minutes

Then add coconut and mix well.

Turn off the flame and it's ready to be served with rice and sambar or rice and rasam
