Steps

Wash and rinse urad dal (whole black lentil) and rajma (kidney beans) in a large bowl. Soak in 3 cups water overnight.

Now transfer the dal and rajma to a pressure cooker with 1 teaspoon salt Now add 3.5 cup water, pressure cook on high-medium heat for 10 whistles, then lower the heat to low-medium and cook for another 10 minutes

In a large pot/pan, heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon ghee on medium heat.
Once the butter melts and is hot, add the finely grated onion. - 4
Cook till onion turns to golden brown now add ginger garlic paste

Now add tomato puree and red chilli powder and garam masala

When tomato puree completely cook add boiled kidney beans and Black whole black lentils

Add water, handful of fresh coriander,cumin powder and Cook it well for 5 or 10 minutes in low flame 🔥

Thickness of dal Makhani is depend of your choice,now in a lil pan add butter and red chilli powder and pour it on cooked lentils

Serve it with naan or lachha Paratha ❤️
