Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel the potatoes. Slice thinly and briefly soak in water. Leave in the strainer to drain.
- 2
Cut the sausages diagonally into moderately thin slices.
- 3
In a dry frying pan, sauté the sausages over low heat. When the sausages have browned thoroughly, remove from the pan and set them aside on a plate.
- 4
In the same frying pan, add olive oil, potato slices, salt, and pepper. Sauté until the potatoes turn a transparent white colour.
- 5
Turn up the heat to medium and add the sausages from step 3. Continue to sauté.
- 6
When the potatoes and sausage are well mixed, turn off the heat. Add the mayonnaise and grain mustard, mix well, and you are done.

Easy German Potatoes with New Potatoes Easy German Potatoes with New Potatoes
While we were out eating dinner, my husband told me that out of all potato dishes, German potatoes are his favorite. So I thought that I would try to make better German potatoes than the one we had that night. If you're using new potatoes, you don't have to peel the skin. Just wash them well and remove any sprouts!-If you don't have any garlic powder:In the beginning of making this dish, cook some sliced garlic until crispy. Once crispy, remove onto a paper towel. When adding the seasonings, grab the crispy garlic and crush them in the palm of your hand when adding to the dish. Recipe by asaco* cookpad.japan -

I thought this was a common recipe, but this egg-potato-wiener german potato recipe didn't turn up any hits when I for it. There are no onions, it's not messy, and can be made over and over again as a side dish, so I thought it might be convenient to upload it .This is a simple recipe you use with just one pan for boiling as well. Use the remaining water to boil both the wieners and potatoes without burning them. Lightly fry the ingredients at steps 4 and 5. The potatoes will become crumbly if you don't. I wanted to be able to eat delicious pretzels even after returning to Japan, so I tried various kinds and came up with my own recipe. I think I finally succeeded in achieving just the right texture and taste of German pretzels (at least for me).Laugenbrēzels (German pretzels) are made with caustic soda, but this recipe uses water with baking soda, since it's a more common household ingredient. You could also substitute the baking soda with 3 g instant yeast. If you use shortening for the fat, the surface will be crispy. For 6 pretzels. Recipe by Saya&nyoro cookpad.japan -
Authentic German Pretzels Authentic German Pretzels
I wanted to make this typical German bread, which I've always bought at home.Unlike regular bread, this is not proofed, so you can make it quickly. Warning: NaOH (food-grade lye) is caustic, so carefully read the directions before using. If you follow the directions, you can use it safely for cooking.Using bicarbonate of soda instead of NaOH: You can make an alkaline poaching liquid (Laugenwasser) by using 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) for every 750 ml of hot water. The finish of the bread will be a bit different, but the rolls will still be tasty. Recipe by Engel cookpad.japan
