Mutton Curry With Whole Potatoes

Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add all whole spices,saute for 30 seconds.Add sliced onion.Fry till golden brown.

Add mutton and saute for 2 minutes,till moisture from mutton dries.

Add ginger -garlic paste.Saute for 1 minute,then add all powdered spices (exept garam masala powder)and salt.

Mix spices well and cook mutton for 2 minutes on medium flame.Then cover the lid and pressure cook on high flame till one whistle.Simmer the flame and further cook for 2 more whistles.

Let pressure release itself,open the lid.Add curd and cook till gravy is thick.

Add potatoes and garam masala powder, mix well. Add 2/3cups of water. Close the lid and cook for 3-4whistles on medium flame.

After 3-4whistles,put off the flame and let pressure release itself.Open the lid and dish out mutton -curry with potatoes.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rice/pulao/paratha/chapatis.
