Homemade Creamy Sesame Dressing

I love sesame dressing...but the store-bought version is expensive so I tried making my own!
I like this to be on the sweet side, so I've added quite a lot of sugar! Please adjust to your taste.
I wanted the texture of the sesame seeds to remain, so I just ground them up halfway.
I am not sure how long this will keep. I always store it in a jar (see photo) in the refrigerator, and use it up within a week to 10 days. Recipe by Oshisu

Years ago I made Chinese chicken salad, with this dressing, for my best friend Danny. He flipped for it. For years he wouldn't let me share the recipe with anyone, calling it our "secret sauce," with big dreams of bottling & selling it and getting rich. LOL. Another friend I served it to actually licked her plate when she was done eating the salad! And I've caught a few people slamming shots of this dressing. I kid you not -- it's that good! Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing
I am big on salads and maybe even bigger on homemade dressings. And it's every bit as much about flavor as health. Well, maybe slightly more...There's something about a homemade dressing made with a few thoughtfully combined ingredients, and without the texture and flavor muck that results from a certain industrial cocktail of gums and stabilizers, that allows the ingredients of your salad to sing. And it really will get you looking forward to eating raw veg, which is so good for your bod.(I do sometimes use a teeny, tiny bit of xanthan gum to emulsify, but not enough to affect the experience of the dressing. A topic for another post, however...)This Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing is a favorite in our house, and even my mustard hating Firstborn likes it. :) x -
