Homemade Creamy Sesame Dressing

I love sesame dressing...but the store-bought version is expensive so I tried making my own!

I like this to be on the sweet side, so I've added quite a lot of sugar! Please adjust to your taste.
I wanted the texture of the sesame seeds to remain, so I just ground them up halfway.
I am not sure how long this will keep. I always store it in a jar (see photo) in the refrigerator, and use it up within a week to 10 days. Recipe by Oshisu

Ingredients

  1. 5 tbspWhite sesame seeds
  2. 4 tbspSugar
  3. 1 tbspVinegar
  4. 3 tbspVegetable oil
  5. 3 tbspMayonnaise
  6. 3 tbspHeavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)
  7. 2 tbspSoy sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Partially grind up the white sesame seeds in a grinding bowl. If it's not too much work, roast the sesame seeds before grinding for aroma.

    Add sugar to the bowl.

    Add vegetable oil.

  4. 4

    Add the mayonnaise, cream and soy sauce in that order and mix well.
