In the boiling water, add a pinch of salt and few drops of oil, and add hari moong dal. Pressure cook for 1-2 whistles and keep aside.

Keep these ingredients ready:

Heat oil in a wok.

Add cumin seeds. Let them sputter and then add onions. Cook for a minute.

Add ginger-garlic paste.

Add red and green chilies. Mix and cook until onions get soft and turn golden.

Now add spices: Salt+ Red chili powder+ Turmeric powder.

Then add tomato puree. Mix and cook until oil separates. Then add boiled dal and water. Mix and cook for another 10 minutes.

It's ready to serve hot. Transfer in a serving bowl.Garnish with coriander leaf 🍃

Enjoy with rice, roti, and parathas.
