Pulled Pork in a Slow Cooker

Pulled Pork is a type of barbecue from United States cuisine. It's a preparation method where pork, usually shoulder or a mix of cuts, is cooked at a low temperature for a long time, which tenderizes the meat enough to break down the connective tissue and allows it to be easily shredded into strands. Use it to fill pita bread, burgers, or however you like.

Steps
- 1
Peel and slice the onion, then place it at the bottom of the slow cooker. Put the pork on top, season with salt, add a little rosemary, and place the two peeled garlic cloves on top.
- 2
Pour the barbecue sauce and the can of Coca-Cola over the meat.
- 3
Close the slow cooker and cook on low for 12 hours. You can open it two or three times during cooking to turn the meat over.
- 4
When it's done, let it cool, then shred the meat using two forks. For storage, I recommend keeping it in its own sauce.
