Ingredients

  1. 3 cupssemolina (about 480 grams)
  2. 1 cupsugar (about 200 grams)
  3. 1/2 cupmilk (about 120 ml)
  4. 3 tablespoonsbaking powder
  5. 1 cuplukewarm water (about 240 ml), for mixing
  6. Orange blossom water
  7. Rose water
  8. Almonds, for garnish
  9. Simple syrup

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the dry ingredients well. Then add the milk.

  2. 2

    Add the lukewarm water and mix to form a dough. Finally, add the orange blossom water and rose water.

    Pour the mixture into a baking pan, cut into pieces, and decorate with almonds.

    Bake on the lower rack of a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) until set, then bake from the top until golden.

    Remove the namoura from the oven, pour the simple syrup over it, and let it cool.

    Cut into medium-sized pieces and serve. Enjoy!
