Making Chiffon Cake: Half-Pound and 1-Pound

Making Chiffon Cake: Half-Pound and 1-Pound

The method is quite simple, requires few ingredients, doesn't take much time, and rarely goes wrong. For those learning to bake cakes, you can use this recipe. Cooking Instructions

Beat the egg yolks with sugar until the color lightens.

Sift the flour and salt into the mixture and stir until slightly thick.

Gradually pour in the milk.

Once well combined, add the rice bran oil and mix well.

Finally, add vanilla and set aside for a moment to make the meringue.

Beat the egg whites until coarse bubbles form.

Add the lemon juice.

Continue beating and gradually add the sugar until all is incorporated and soft peaks form.

Fold a small portion of the meringue into the egg yolk mixture using a whisk. Don't worry about deflating it; just mix well.

Then pour the egg yolk mixture into the meringue and fold gently but quickly with a spatula until well combined.

Pour into the mold.

Bake for a half-pound at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes. Preheat the oven.
