Steps
- 1
Crush 2-3 garlic cloves in a jar. pour over 1.7 oz of water and 1.7 oz of oil. add 1 tsp of salt, mix well and put into fridge for one hour.
- 2
Make dough: pour 1.5 cups of lukewarm water into a bowl
- 3
Crumple fresh yeast into it, stir and let it dissolve.
- 4
Sift the flour into a large bowl. add one tsp of salt, mix, then pour over the yeast mixture
- 5
Mix it with your hand, and knead the dough well at least for 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic, and doesn’t stick to the bowl anymore
- 6
Cover and let it rise for 20 minutes
- 7
Pour 3.2oz of oil around the dough. pull the dough up, so the oil covers it. push the dough down to let out some of the air
- 8
Cover again for 5-8 minutes
- 9
Section the dough in 6 pieces and flatten them out with your hands like pizza crust
- 10
Place the dough in the oil. cook on this side for 1.5 minutes
- 11
Flip and cook on other side for one minute.
- 12
Spread garlic oil on lángos then cover with sour cream and shredded cheese (feel free to add any additional toppings 😋)
