(For Chargha)

Wash chicken,pat dry, then give deep cuts and tie with the thread.

Then mix and apply all above chargha ingredients with oil on the inside and out side of the chicken, leave for 1 to 2 hours

Then steam marinated chicken in steamer for 15 to 20 minutes then deep fry in hot oil to give nice brown color

(For Rice)

In a pan, put ghee and heat it up, then add cardamom, cinnomon sticks,cloves and bay leaves, and fry for a second, then add onion and fry until golden brown

Then add ginger garlic paste, tomato and green chillies, and fry well, when tomato softens add red chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder fry for 2 to 3 mints add biryani masala and potatoes (cut into 4 pieces) and matar(peas) and 1/2 cup of water, cover and cook till both gets tender and off the fire

Boil rice with whole garam masala and salt

Now take a big pot apply some oil, then spread half rice,

Then cooked masala with aaloo and matar

Then add fried onion, green chillies, green coriander and mint leaves

Then remaining rice orange, food color and some fried onion and cooked chargha, cover and cook on dum for 10 to 15 mints

Yummy chargh biryani is ready to serve
