Steps

Take charred tomatoes, carefully remove the skin. Mash it well with a masher.

Take a pan add oil add cumin seeds, let it crackle a little. Now add chopped chillies and onion and saute well.

Now add the mashed tomatoes. Mix well. Keep cooking it on low to medium flame.

Once the water dries. Switch off the flame. Enjoy this amazing bharta with rice, dal and papad.
