Steps
- 1
Soak the daal and Rice for overnight. Grind it with some water. Don't add too much water while grinding.
- 2
Keep it for overnight fermentation. Mix it well. Season the cast iron tawa. Brush it with slight oil. Spread the laddleful batter.
- 3
If you have chutney powder, sprinkle on it. You can skip this step if you don't have chutney powder. Add spoonful ghee or butter. Spread it evenly.
- 4
Once it is golden in colour, you can roll it. Serve hot with Sambhar or coconut chutney.
- 5
Tip - This dosa work great on cast iron tawa. You may not get the same result on nonstick tawa.
