Gluten-free and lactose-free but super yummy. You could use plain flour and cheddar cheese if preferred. Also yummy with added frozen peas or green beans.

Gluten-free and lactose-free but super yummy. You could use plain flour and cheddar cheese if preferred. Also yummy with added frozen peas or green beans.
Steps

Peel and thickly sliced the potatoes. Wash and cut broccoli into florets.. Boil gently until cooked.

Layer the potato slices over the base of an oven-proof dish.

Gently fry the onion. Pour onions over the potatoes. Then add the broccoli florets. Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Melt the spread gently in a small pan over a low heat. Add the flour and stir to cover with the melted butter. Add the milk very slowly, whilst stirring continuously until all the milk is added and the sauce is smooth.

Add 1/2 of the cheese to the sauce. Stir through and remove from the heat.

Pour over the vegetables. Pop into the oven for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle over the remaining cheese and return to the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
