Ingredients

10 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cupPeeled and Chopped cucumber
  • 2 tablespoonsChopped onion
  • 2 tablespoonsChopped tomatoes
  • 1 smallGrated carrot
  • 2 tablespoonsLemon juice
  • 1 tspGrated fresh coconut
  • 1 tablespoonCrushed peanut
  • 1 tablespoonChopped coriander
  • fewMint leaves
  • 1 tspMustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 2 smallChopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tablespoonCooking oil
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspHing
  • 4 to 5Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tspSugar
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 2 pinchCumin powder

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    First make sure that all the chopped are refrigerated for 1/2 an hour.

  2. 2

    Just before meal, take out and mix all the veggies in a bowl. Add chillies, crushed peanuts, coconut and mix well.

    Then heat oil, add mustard, cumin, hing, curry leaves, turmeric powder and when it sizzles, add on salad and cover for a minute. (You can also add black pepper vans grated ginger when it's cold outside)

    Lastly, add salt, sugar, lemon juice and mix. Garnish with coriander, mint and sprinkle cumin on top. (In place of lemon juice, add fresh curd and mix) Serve fresh and enjoy delicious Koshimbir😋
