Whole Wheat Flour and Olive Oil Square Bread (One Loaf)

I made this with healthy oil and whole wheat flour, along with walnuts. This tastes great, even without butter.
The soft dough is sticky and bit hard to handle and mold, but it remains really soft even the next day!
I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.

I added in the walnuts directly this time, but it is even more delicious if you roast them a bit before baking.
The dough is a bit sticky, so please sprinkle with flour when it gets difficult to handle.
Please adjust the baking time and temperature according to your household oven.
Or you could just bake it in the bread maker. Recipe by Youtank

Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsBread (strong) flour
  2. 50 gramsWhole wheat flour
  3. 20 gramsOlive oil
  4. 20 gramsSugar
  5. 3 gramsSalt
  6. 170 gramsWater
  7. 3 gramsDry yeast
  8. 30 grams~ Walnuts

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Make the dough in the bread maker. Roughly chop the walnuts, and please add them in when it starts the mixing phase.

  2. 2

Lightly release the gas once the first proofing is done, and bench for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

After benching, lightly release the gas and stretch the dough out into a rectangle.

  4. 4

Fold the dough into thirds according to the size of the pan. Blend it together so that air doesn't get in.

  5. 5

Roll it up but not too tightly~. Roll it up by rolling it back and forth. Close the ends firmly.

  6. 6

Place into a pan coated with grease, then let it rise for the second time.

  7. 7

Once it has risen to about 80% of the pan, bake in the oven at 200℃ for 30 minutes.

  8. 8

After baking, remove the lid and lightly drop the whole pan onto the counter to remove excess air.

  9. 9

Now your healthy, whole wheat flour sliced bread is done.

  10. 10

The walnuts accent the fluffy bread nicely.

  11. 11

This is whole wheat walnut bread with the fragrance of olive oil.

  12. 12

This one was eaten topped with honey. I recommend this as well.
