Khichdi is the most liked food in sehri meals mostly it’s prepared with a combination of khichdi,khatta,Khagina ,stir fried keema.
And I have tired this in two variations previously I have posted one on my profile and this the 2 one but this seems more delicious.do try and experience it.bhuni khichdi the name itself defines its roasted before cooking completely so it’s name like so but it’s insanely delicious.
Can be enjoyed in breakfast meal normally in Ramadan specially will enjoy it in seher Alhumdulillah..!

Firstly wash dal Masoor with rice and soaked for 1 hour at least. Further take a wok add oil and then add onions and all hard spices sauté for 2 minutes

Then add chopped tomatoes for 1 minute and add ginger garlic paste sauté all for 1 minute further add the soaked rice only first to roast it until slightly aromatic with light hands so that rice will not break. Then add green chili’s with slits

Lastly add water accordingly with salt,turmeric powder,Garam masala powder,coriander leaves everything and let it come to a gentle boil then cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame burner.check if the rice strand breaks in 3 parts immediately off the flame and let it settle for 5 more minutes. Then serve it hot the delicious bhuni khichdi is ready to relish.
