Sakura-Colored Buttered Potatoes

I wanted to top the potatoes with shio-kara (fermented krill) because I'm a native of Hokkaido, but since it wouldn't give them an attractive color, I used the beautiful dried sakura shrimp.
The cooking time for the potatoes is approximate. I cooked the potatoes in a microwave-safe plastic container.
For the dried sakura shrimp, it's delicious with a mixture of finely powdered and half-ground bits.
Adjust the amount of butter to taste.
By the way, in my house, my son helped me out.

Butter-Fried Sweet Potatoes Butter-Fried Sweet Potatoes
I wanted to use sweet potatoes as a bento dish, so I cut them into small pieces to fit in the bento box, and fried with butter. When you microwave the sweet potatoes, don't cook them too long. Caramel Potatoes Caramel Potatoes
I was making these to put into bread dough, and I picked out some to eat as-is and it was unexpectedly delicious (to me ; ). Butter and sugar is also used, but I think it could be a healthy snack. In Step 1, the potatoes are too hot and soft, so you can't make perfect cubes. So, be sure to cool before working with them. It's okay if the amount of potatoes is a little more or less than the listed amount. Recipe by caramel-cookie cookpad.japan -
