Steps

Dry roast the dalia & moong dal separately till the aroma comes out & it turns light brown in colour.

In a pressure cooker heat the refined oil on medium flame. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds.

Let them crackle,add splited green chilli,cloves.

Then add ginger paste, chopped carrots, potatoes, soya mini chunks,chopped tomatoes, green peas & stir well.

Add roasted & washed dalia,moong dal & mix well.

Add 5-6 cups warm water along with salt,turmeric powder.

Cook them till 1 whistle & then turn off the flame.

Serve the dalia khichdi hot with carrot, cucumber, curd salads.
