Shrikhand is something I love to eat since childhood. I do not make it often as no one in my home really relishes it. But when I got a chance to make it, I did so for myself and enjoyed all the servings

Take the curd, sieve it in a muslin cloth and tie and leave for 2 hours.

Take the hung curd so formed after 2 hours in a mixing bowl.

Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it.

Soak the saffron in 2 tsp warm milk and add this to the shrikhand.

Mix everything well and taste for the sweetness.

Put in bowls, add more saffron on top and garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios and serve cold.
