My grad student Marco from Italy introduced me to this when he stayed with me for a month. Anyone can boil spaghetti and open a can of tuna - even a student, he says. Adjust anything and everything to your taste.

My grad student Marco from Italy introduced me to this when he stayed with me for a month. Anyone can boil spaghetti and open a can of tuna - even a student, he says. Adjust anything and everything to your taste.
Cooking Instructions

Prepare ingredients, mise en place

Boil spaghetti (6 minutes) and saute vegetables except tomatoes.

Add tuna and tomatoes and more olive oil.
- 4
Add pasta, al diente, to pan first with a touch of vinho verde, then some small amount of pasta water. Cook until water is sufficiently absorbed, say 5 minutes.

Plate. Drizzle on some more oil. Enjoy!

Honestly, the day of the week has nothing to do with this recipe. I just wanted a better name than 'Shrimp Linguine,' and I happened to make it on a Saturday night. Lazy naming aside, this dish was also one of the most successful of late. My daughter loves both shrimp and noodles, so she was always a guaranteed slam dunk.
