Simmered King Oyster Mushrooms for Bento

I made this as a bento filler.
You can just pour the seasonings over the king oyster mushrooms. They will be evenly blended after being cooked in the microwave. But just to be sure, it's better to lightly mix at the end. Recipe by Pukuttopukumaru

Steps
- 1
Shred the king oyster mushrooms into your desired sizes.
- 2
Put the king oyster mushrooms in a heat-resistant dish (preferably a deep one) and pour the ingredients marked with ☆ over them. You can also use a silicone steamer.
- 3
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2-3 minutes. They're done when the mushrooms are softened.
- 4
Mix lightly to blend the seasonings evenly.
- 5
Here's the silicone steamer that I used.
- 6
I also added shimeji mushrooms to this recipe. I used 1 pack each of king oyster mushrooms and shimeji mushrooms with 1.5 times more seasoning as listed on the ingredient list.
