Fluffy Meat Bun (Pork Bun) Wrappers

This is the dough I like to make when preparing meat buns.
Translator's note: 551 Horai is a restaurant chain in Japan that is famous for it's meat buns.
As you can see from the picture, the seam is facing down. I recommend this trick to beginners, since it prevents the buns from splitting open. Recipe by kkomugi

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Combine all the ingredients together and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth. You can use a bread machine too.
- 2
Cover with plastic wrap and let the dough rise until it's about two to three times larger (takes about 30-40 minutes).
- 3
Divide the dough into your desired size and then form into balls. Cover with plastic wrap again and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 4
Roll the dough out, wrap your desired fillings in it and then steam for 10 minutes.
- 5
In Step 2, if you skip the bread proofing stage, it takes on a chewy texture like those of 551 Horai. You can make them the way you'd like!
