Cooking Instructions
- 1
Simply thoroughly mix all of the ingredients together. You can turn this into milky hot chocolate if you stir in warm soy milk or milk or make a cafe mocha if you stir in cafe au lait.
- 2
Cocoa powder is full on antioxidants and rich in iron and calcium. It's also a digestive aid.
- 3
Don't add sugar and full fat milk! That'll just increase your intake of sugar and additives.

Simple Chocolate Sauce Simple Chocolate Sauce
This is a simple chocolate sauce. When the chocolate has melted, it may seem like the water and oil have separated, but keep stirring the mixture so that it doesn't burn to the sides and it will get nice and smooth. Of course, when this mixture cools it will become hard and sticky, but just add what you need to a container and microwave before use. I recommend using couverture chocolate. 5 Minute Chocolate Sauce 5 Minute Chocolate Sauce
I wanted to make something that would take care of dessert when I don't have time to make anything but have guests over. With this super-quick sauce, even store-bought ice cream gets a fancy boost. You don't need to just use this for desserts, you can add a small amount to cappuccino (which is apparently called a "mocha-ccino,") or add it to milk to make chocolate milk. Banana pancakes with chocolate sauce Banana pancakes with chocolate sauce
#reststyleA favourite restaurant dish of mine for breakfast is Pancakes doused with hot chocolate sauce. Infact, my daughter can have this at any time of the day. I had tried perfecting this at home and have come with an awesome restaurant style but healthier recipe, with a great way to add some fruit into the breakfast without too much fuss. Shuchi Jain -
Vodka-Less Sauce Vodka-Less Sauce
My wife loves her Penne a la Vodka. One of her favorite dishes. While she was pregnant, she sadly could not order this at restaurants. Yes, a lot of alcohol does burn off, but about 20-30% stays. Why take the chance, we thought? When her birthday rolled around, I decided to use a recipe that I had and just leave out the vodka. That way, she can still enjoy her favorite dish. She loved it so much and we still make it this way.You can always add the Vodka. In my original recipe, it was after the onions were sauteed.Enjoy! J.A.B. -
