Oh My Gosh Chicken Paprikash
A favorite at our house! Especially in the Winter months!
Cooking Instructions

Brown chicken in butter using a large deep pan, over medium heat. Remove chicken, reserving drippings in pan. Drain chicken on paper towels. Add red peppers, mushrooms and onions to pan with drippings. Cook over medium heat, until just tender.

Add flour and paprika. Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. It will be thick and pasty at this time. Gradually add chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper. Add your chicken back to pan, cover and reduce heat. Simmer about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.

Stir in sour cream. Cook, stirring constantly, just until thoroughly heated. DO NOT BOIL. Serve over hot egg noodles, spaetzle or even gnocchi. Enjoy!
