Basic Pizza Sauce

Weekends are for pizza! I like big pizzas. I wanted to make a simple sauce that brings out the flavor of the pizza toppings.
If you're topping with cheese or ham, they already contain salt, so it's okay to reduce the amount of salt in the sauce. Reduce the sauce until it's no longer watery to bring out the sweetness of the tomatoes. Recipe by makkocafe

Steps
- 1
Put some olive oil in a frying pan and add in the garlic, that you've crushed with the backside of a kitchen knife, and heat.
- 2
Once the garlic starts to brown, add in the tomato by crushing it with your hands. Add the salt and sugar in and reduce the sauce until it's about half its original volume.
