There are many ways to prepare a pizza dough. I am sharing here the method which I follow.

Steps

In a big bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
In a cup take the lukewarm water and olive oil. - 2
Gradually pour the water and oil mixture to flour mixture and knead for around 8 to 10 minutes by hand to make a smooth ball.
A dough maker can be used too, it takes around 3 to 5 minutes in that.

Put it in a ziplock bag and leave it in refrigerator for overnight for proofing.

This is how it looks on the next day.

This can be stored upto 3 days in refrigerator and can be frozen for a week.

The dough can be made with Inactive Yeast. For that the yeast needs to be activated first.

Take the warm water in a large bowl add the granulated sugar and yeast and cover it with a plate and wait for 10 minutes.
The yeast will get activated by this time and bubbles will be visible on top. - 8
Now add the olive oil, and flour and salt mixture.
The kneading process is same as above. Knead till a smooth ball.
Then apply olive oil on the surface of the dough and keep in a warm place to proof for 2 hours.
The dough gets doubled in size. - 9
The storing process is also same as above.
