Steps

Firstly wash the daal twice or thrice then take a cooker to add daal and water mix it well.

Then add 2 tsp turmeric powder and salt according to taste.

Pressure cook it when 2 whistles come sim the gas for 15 mins then turn off the gas.

Meanwhile heat a kadhai add 2 tsp ghee, add 1tsp cumin and fennel seeds then add finely chopped onions, saute it well when it changes the colour.

Add chopped tomatoes cook in a low medium flame.

Add chana daal. Cook for a while then add finely chopped coriander leaf. It's ready.
