  1. 2.5 cupsBasmati rice
  2. 500 gbeef
  3. 3large onions - diced
  4. 3table spoons cooking oil
  5. 1.5 table spoonpilau masala
  6. 2table spoons ginger garlic paste
  7. 5 cupswater - boiled
  8. 1 table spoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Put beef in a sufuria, add a bit of salt and cover with lid. Cook until all water is dried up and a bit browned.

    In a sufuria, add your oil and onions, cook until the onions are well browned.

    Add the ginger garlic paste and stir for around 2 mins.

    Add the pilau masala and salt and let cook for 1 minute.

    Add your meat and stir well.

    Add water and let it boil for like 2 minutes.

    Add your rice and cover. Cooks for around 30 minutes. As the rice approaches drying up, reduce the heat.

    Serve with Kachumbari or a salad of your choice.
