In a large bowl, crush the biscuits and mix them with the nuts and salt.

Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler. When they are nearly melted, add the milk and vanilla extract.

Mix the chocolate with the biscuits, ensuring everything is chocolate covered.

Tip the chocolate mixture out in the middle of the cling film and mold it into a salami-like log. Roll it firmly and twist the ends.

Then wrap it in aluminium foil and put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Once it is set, dust your hands with a little icing sugar and then rub some more over the salami. You can also use a string for decoration.

💡TIP 1: Crush the biscuits keeping small and medium pieces (it doesn't have to crumble).

💡TIP 2: The vanilla extract enhances the flavor of chocolate by balancing sweetness, and countering acidity and bitterness; you won't taste it afterwards, but if you prefer you can use another flavor.
