Japanese-style Omelette with Natto and Cream Cheese Japanese-style Omelette with Natto and Cream Cheese
I love natto and cream cheese together. So, I tried folding them inside some soft eggs to make an omelette. The resulting dish was delicious as it was mildly flavored overall thanks to the eggs.I think you only need the saltiness of the natto sauce, Japanese mustard, and the cream cheese to season the omelette. For best results, use a decent amount of green onions and bonito flakes. Try making an omelette with your usual frying pan a few times to get the hang of it. I initially failed at making omelets, too. Now, it falls apart only on some occasions, and I fix it later when it happens. Recipe by milketmoi cookpad.japan -

Mom's Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelettes Mom's Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelettes
My mother used to make this tamagoyaki for me!It was always the highlight of my breakfasts and bentos...Now, as an adult, I enjoy it regularly with grated daikon radish and soy sauce. It's also sweet and tasty with 1/2 a teaspoon of shio-koji instead of salt. You can make it fluffy if you start wrapping up the omelettes just when the bottom part starts to solidify while the top part is still soft-set...Even if it doesn't look pretty, just shape it with a paper towel or bamboo mat (for sushi rolls) and it will turn out nicely. Fluffy Omurice Rice Omelette Fluffy Omurice Rice Omelette
My boyfriend asked me to make a fluffy and cream soft omurice. This is what I arrived at after a lot of practice! You can make this with vegetable oil instead of butter, but butter makes it more luxurious. It may seem difficult to gauge the timing for making the omelette light and fluffy, but once you get used to it, it's easy. Recipe by kanap0m cookpad.japan
