Ice cream sandwich cake

Tic toc had me make it and it was delicious.

From what I have read this very simple layered ice cream cake was started by Kraft using crumbed Oreo cookies between the layers. Today the variations are endless, with any size you want, adjusting the ingredients and using any flavor of ice cream and adding what suits you. My version is a small cake layered in a loaf pan with mocha chip ice cream layered between the ice cream sandwiches. I used fresh whipped cream to frost the cake with drizzles of chocolate and chopped heath bars for a Crunch decoration. This cake takes minutes to prepare allowing for freezing and makes pretty slices and is delicious!

I decided to make this cake on a hot summer day I wanted something cold yet I also wanted a cake. So I figured I would mix ice cream sandwiches n try to make a cake out of it. My whole family loved it I have people who beg me to make it for them

My kids requested a birthday cake, so following their request, I finally came up with this type of cake. Since it's ice cream, it can be stored in the freezer for a good amount of time. It can be cut into individual slices so that it's easy to eat.Make sure you don't forget to make space in the freezer. You can freeze the cookie dough before or after shaping it, so use your time wisely and plan out when to make it. For 25 x 16 x 5cm [9.8 x 6.3 x 2.0 in] cake pan ~ cut into 20 pieces. Cookie Dough Ice cream Sandwiches

This cake is so darn good and incredibly easy!! The cake mix and ice cream possibilities are endless!! We went with white cake and vanilla ice cream so we could dye it green for St Patty's day.
