Ingredients

  1. 6raw mangoes
  2. 240 mlwater
  3. 260 gramsjaggery powder
  4. 1 tspfennel seeds
  5. 2cardamom pods
  6. 3-4black peppercorns
  7. 360 mlwater
  8. 1/4 tspblack salt
  9. 1 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and roughly chop the raw mangoes and add them to a heavy bottomed saucepan set over low heat. Add in the water and cook until they start getting tender.

    Add in the jaggery powder, fennel seeds, cardamom and black peppercorns and continue to cook the mangoes until they become thick for about 7-8 minutes.

    Once the mangoes are fully cooked, take the mixture off the heat and allow it to cool before transferring it to a jar of a blender.
    Add in the 1 + ½ cup of water to the blender along with black salt and salt. Blend till smooth.

    Pour in kulfi/popsicle moulds and freeze for 6-8 hours or until compeletly frozen/set.
