Nothing can beat the Kulhad Pahadi Chai. If you ever had visited any of the hill stations in India, the first thing that welcome you is the smell of chai. This Pahadi Chai has a special aroma and is served in kulhad and the air is surrounded by the aroma of cinnamon, cardamom and lots of ginger.
I had this tea today and thought of sharing the recipe with you all.

I had this tea today and thought of sharing the recipe with you all.

In a mortar and pestle add cinnamom, cardamom, cloves, ginger and crush them all together.

Boil water in saucepan. Add the crushed masala into the sauce pan and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Add tea leaves and let it brew for 2 more minutes.

Add sugar and milk.

Let the tea boil for another 3-4 minutes.

Chai is ready. Strain through strainer and serve hot immediately in a kulhad or any tea cups.
