Take a pan add oil, onion and fry till light golden brown colour.

Add cinnamon stick, zeera whole and stir fry.

Add potato slices and stir fry.

Add turmeric powder and mix well. Add water as required. Cook the potato 80 %.

Soak the rice for 15 minutes. When potatoes are 80% done then add rice, garam masala powder and cook for 10 minutes till the water is dried.

Place it in dum for 15 minutes on low heat.

Simple and easy turmeric Potato Rice are ready to serve.
