Cooking Instructions
- 1
Have all ingredients ready, but do not season and flour the fish until immediately before cooking.
- 2
Unless you are cooking to order, use as many saute pans as necessary to hold all the fillets or cook them in several batches. Place the saute pan over medium heat so they will be ready as soon as the fish is floured.
- 3
Season the fillets with salt and pepper. Place the clarified butter in the hot pans to heat. Dredge the fish in flour and shake off excess. Place the fish in the pans flesh side (presentation side) down.
- 4
Saute until lightly browned. Turn over with a spatula and brown the other side. Be careful not to break the fillets when turning.
- 5
Remove the fillets from the pan with a spatula, being careful not to break them. Plate the fish on hot plates.
- 6
Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- 7
Heat the butter in small saucepan or saute pan until it turns light brown
- 8
Pour the hot butter over the fish.
- 9
Quickly place a lemon slice on top of each fillet/ lemon wedges and serve immediately.

Lemon Dijon Fish Fillets Lemon Dijon Fish Fillets
This dish can be made with just about any type of white fish or salmon. I used Swai this go around because it's what we had on hand needing to be used. Not the best photo because I had to snap it of my husband's fillet while he was trying to eat since it was the last one we had.#February2026 StephieCanCook -
Fried Fish Fried Fish
This tasty fried fish recipe is made with a basic combination of flour and seasonings, but don't be fooled by the simplicity of this dish—the fillets fry up crispy and delicious. Haddock and cod are two excellent choices for fried fish, but tilapia, pollock, or another mild white fish should work fine. Be careful not to overcook the thin fillets or burn the crispy coating. My mother is from New Orleans and we grew up eating every kind of seafood. Since moving to North Louisiana she misses fried fish terribly. So blackening and searing seemed to be the best way to compensate for fresh fish. alley927cat -

Honey Mustard Baked Crusted Tilapia Fillets Honey Mustard Baked Crusted Tilapia Fillets
Successful #fridgecleanoutmeal ☺️👌 I had only 4 fillets and a couple salad dressing bottles that I wanted to use up. I also had a bit of grated parmesan to get rid of. This was a quick & easy dish, with minimal ingredients, that you could serve for dinner or lunch, as a sandwich or main course with sides, add to a salad, or simply enjoy alone if you like fish. 😄👍 Chef Mommy Nessa
