Korean cabbage pancake

Ingredients

15 mins prep, 15 mins to cook
  1. For pancake
  2. 1 cupveg stock
  3. 2/3 cupflour
  4. 1egg / flax seeds egg substitute
  5. Napa cabbage
  6. salt n pepper
  7. For sauce
  8. 2 tbspsoy sauce
  9. 1/2 tspgochu-garu or gochujang paste
  10. 1 tbspvinegar
  11. 1green onion
  12. 1 tspsesame seeds
  13. 1-2jalapenos
  14. As neededsugar

Cooking Instructions

15 mins prep, 15 mins to cook

    Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, green onion, sesame seeds, jalapenos, gochuchang or gochjaru powder and water (as needed) to make sauce.

    Mix flour, veg stock, salt, pepper and 1 egg/flax seeds paste to make batter. Coat pieces of Napa cabbage in batter.

    Take a large pan. Add oil and shallow fry the cabbage till crisp. Add more oil if necessary while frying.

    Serve cabbage with prepared sauce and kimchi.
