Ingredients

2 cupspasta
1/2 cupreserved pasta liquid
1 Tbspbutter
2 tspfresh minced garlic
1 cupshrimp prawns
1/2 cupchopped fresh thyme parsley
1 cupsour cream
1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
Halfa medium lemon and a wedge for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook pasta per package instructions. Drain and reserve some liquid. Run through cold water to stop cooking process and prevent sticking

Heat butter until melted and sizzling. Cook prawns in it until browned. Not forgetting to add a sprinkling of lemon juice, season and add the garlic until fragrant

Lower heat and stir in the sour cream. It won’t immediately fully incorporate hence now’s when you need to add the reserved pasta liquid (1/2 cup only). Let it boil down a little before stirring in the cheese and parsley

Lastly take off heat and stir in the pasta. Enjoy hot with your favorite soda! You could sprinkle extra lemon juice if you like
