Since it's October, I wanted to make my son's bentos Halloween themed! I made an extra effort and prepared these.Make extra amounts of carrot slices simmered in consomme or glazed carrots. Wrap each slice in plastic wrap to use the next day in bentos - it's handy to have these on hand. You can freeze cooked kabocha squash too. Wrap each piece in plastic. You can use the frozen pieces as-is in bentos, so they can slowly thaw, just in time for lunch! 80 grams of rice is just enough for a 2 year old boy's bento box. Recipe by Mya-kom. cookpad.japan -

Tri-Colored Bento with Teriyaki Chicken Tri-Colored Bento with Teriyaki Chicken
I made a bento with the teriyaki chicken that I've been eating since I was little. Make this eel saucebeforehand and store it for easy bento preparation. Homemade Gochujang-The flour is used so that the sauce sticks to the chicken.-This recipe uses a little extra sugar since the chicken will be in a bento box. Please adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.-It also tastes great if you add some ginger juice.-You can add some vinegar, also (the vinegar prevents the food from spoiling.) Chicken Piccata for Bento Chicken Piccata for Bento
I make this often for bento. I modified a chicken recipe we eat at my parents' house by cutting the chicken into bite size pieces fit for bento.Because I make this for bento, I cut the chicken into bite size pieces and cover in sauce. The chicken is soft and is still delicious even after it cools. It's cheap, too. If you're having it at home, you could also make it with whole chicken tenders instead of cutting them into pieces. Serve with the sauce. Recipe by Meso cookpad.japan -
