First make a paste of ginger, garlic, green coriander and chilli.

In a pan mix the chickpea flour, rava. Add ginger-chili-garlic paste, turmeric, sugar and salt to taste. Add baking soda and make better with yogurt or buttermilk. (Add water if needed.)

Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add rye cumin ajma, add hing and add better. Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Rotate the other side carefully. Bake for five minutes.

Healthy kothambir vadi are ready. Serve with sauce or with green sauce.
