Sweet Corn Bread
This recipe is from the corn meal bag. I have used it for years.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Grease or spray a 8 inch square baking pan.

In large bowl, combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Add milk, egg, and oil. Beat until fairly smooth.

Pour batter into prepared baking pan.Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. If you are making muffins or corn sticks baking time is 18 minutes.
