1 cupself-rising corn meal (i use white)
1/2 cupself-rising flour
2eggs
1 tbspsalt
1/4 cupsugar
1 cupmilk
2 tbspoil
1cast iron skillet

pre-heat oven to 375°

heat skillet on stove top over medium heat with 1 tablespoon oil

mix other ingredients in a bowl to a smooth batter adding milk if needed

turn off stove top and pour batter into skillet

bake for 20 minutes or until center is firm
