  1. Dry
  2. 1/4 cupgranulated sugar
  3. 3/4 cupCornmeal
  4. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  5. 3/4 cupAll purpose flour
  6. 1 tbspbaking powder
  7. 1/4 tspsalt
  8. Wet
  9. 1 stickbutter, melted
  10. 2eggs, beat
  11. 1 cupbuttermilk
  12. 1/2 canwhole kernel sweet corn, drained

Cooking Instructions

    Add dry ingredients in medium bowl, whisk together.

    Add wet ingredients into dry, mix completely but not over mixed.

    Grease a square nonstick baking pan (8x8), pour batter into prepared pan, sprinkle with sugar (1tblsp)

    Bake at 375° for 25 minutes

    Let cool on rack for 15 minutes

  6. 6

    Turn upside down and cut into squares, serve while warm.
