Hmm not a fan of awara but kids love it, they always like to buy it on the street, I'm not comfortable with it at all, Soo I decided to give it a try and surprise my munchkins🤼🤼😄 and guest what I made it perfectly 💃I was sooo happy wllhi. I was like ashe awaran ba wahala😆😄😄

Wash and soak the beans for 10mins, grind it into a smooth paste, sieve it using a cheese cloth, take out all the milk in the beans and pour into a pot.

Keep an eye on it because it can boil over, let it boil for like 10mins, squeeze out the juice from the lemon and strain it, then it to the boiling soya beans do not stire.

You will notice the beans milk start to curd,let it curd and boil for 2mins, then pour it to a cheese cloth, and let it cool for 2mins then at this point you can add the garlic and the seasoning of your choice,

Tie the cheese cloth tightly so that the it will drain well. Put it inside a colander and cover with a plate,then add a heavy object on it, just like this👇

After 10-15mins bring it out from the cheese cloth,then cut into your desired shapes.

I keep mine in this big shapes until I'm ready to use it

Fry it with egg or plain after infusing it in a seasoned water for some minutes. Serve and enjoy😋😋
