1]In a large bowl mix all ingredients except oil.

2]Add 1 tbsp oil to the mixture. Mix well.

3]Adding water gradually, knead to form a soft dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

4]Divide the dough into 4 balls.

5]Grease a heavy-bottomed tawa with 1 tsp oil. Take a ball, keep it on tawa and then by gently tapping it with your fingers make a circular roti.

6]Roast this on medium flame till it becomes crisp and golden in colour.

7] Flip its side and cook in similar way from other side too. Sprinkle some oil on other side too.
Enjoy akki rotti with curd or schutney.
To make best akki rotis, use fine rice flour. Also they should not be thick but thin.
