Sweet Potato Cake (Air Fryer)

Depending on the amount of corn flour you use, the cake will come out with different shades of yellow. Make sure to mix well to avoid white spots on the cake. It tastes really fragrant! ♥️

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Steam the sweet potatoes until cooked, or you can conveniently cook them in a rice cooker along with rice. Mash the sweet potatoes with a fork and mix with a bit of all-purpose flour/cornstarch and a little water to make the dough more pliable (the amount of flour depends on the size of the sweet potatoes, but using less flour will enhance the sweet potato flavor).

Shape the mixture by hand into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle a little black sesame on top for decoration. Place them in an air fryer and set the temperature to 340°F (170°C) for 10 minutes, then flip and set for another 5 minutes at 340°F (170°C). Next, flip the side with sesame on top and let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to firm up the surface (this step can be skipped if not necessary). Adjust the temperature according to your appliance. Good luck!

Even if one part gets burned, it will still be delicious. If you let the cake sit for a day, it will become moist and even more delicious. Recipe by Keyua cookpad.japan -
