Beetroot, Carrot Halwa

In winter season, we usually make Carrot Halwa/Gajar Halwa as a loved by all and delicious sweet dessert/sweet dish. Beetroot and Carrot Halwa is equally delicious and full of nutrients.
I have used here condensed milk, ghee, chopped dry nuts , kismis and cardamom powder along with grated beetroots and carrots. This sweet recipe is very delicious and mouth melting. This method to cook halwa is easy and take less time to prepare.

Heat ghee and cook grated beetroots and carrots with a pinch of salt for 10 minutes on low flame.

When veggies are soft and ghee is released from them, add a cup milk and condensed milk. Mix well with beetroots and carrots. Add half of dry fruits and nuts.

Make the flame medium and allow to evaporate the milk. When veggies come together, switch off the flame and allow to cool a bit.

Mix cardamom powder and garnish with rest chopped dry fruits and kismis before serving.
